Goodbye England!

Well, here we are. I can't believe I am finally going to Africa! After the issue with Senegal needing to be cancelled I am heading to Malawi this evening. It's been a bit of a roller-coaster already and I haven't even left home!

I don't think I've ever had mixed emotions the same way as I do now. I am so excited to go, I've been waiting for what feels like forever to get on that plane and see the world. The project sounds amazing and I'll be living right in the heart of a little village. I can't get over how lucky I am to have this opportunity, to have managed to raise all of the money (thank you all) and to have people supporting me all the way. I have a pretty awesome life here in England. My family are incredible, my friends amazing, my church so exciting and I will miss all of the people so much. Expect thousands of letters and emails telling you all how much I miss you, but how much I am loving Africa.

I am also very enthusiastic about the fact I have a blog! I've always wanted one but felt like until now all of my posts would be along the lines of 'I had some homework today, I ate some toast and then I watched a rerun of Friends before looking at Facebook' However, the plan is that my life will suddenly get very exciting and thrilling for all of you to read about. Lucky things.

I think I could write forever but, although I'm packed, I have realised that I have no shampoo so need to pop to Tesco! I only hope I'm within the weight restrictions.

I'll miss all of my friends and family beyond belief so keep in touch and just remember that I'll be back in a year!

Love you all,
Chloe xxxx
